Introductory flying lesson | WHAT TO EXPECT
The introductory flight lesson is designed to show you what flying an airplane is like. The lesson begins with a pre-flight briefing and aircraft safety checks. The instructor will then help you settle into the aircraft, show you a few basic instruments and then the fun begins! Please call or email to book a flight time after purchase to reserve a specific time.
We offer 2 introductory flight packages and a sightseeing package
Intro Package: Get Your Feet Wet - 45 Minute Flying Lesson: $259.00 + HST
In the mini lesson, the instructor will perform the take-off and hand over the controls of the aircraft to you (depending on conditions and your comfort level). During the flight, you will also have the opportunity to take pictures of the beautiful scenery during the flight. You will then fly back to the airport where the instructor will take over and land the plane. At the end of the flight, you will a mini-logbook to record the experience!
Intro Package: Full Experience - 60 Minute Flying Lesson: $319+ HST
The full flight experience begins with a 20 minute ground school lesson and safety briefing before stepping into the aircraft. During the 60 minute in-flight lesson, the instructor will taxi the aircraft and perform the pre-takeoff safety checks. The instructor will then perform the take-off and hand over the controls of the aircraft to you (depending on conditions and your comfort level). During the flight, you will learn how fly straight and level, perform turns, and navigate to various landmarks to get a feel for flying and navigation! At the end of the flight, you will receive a mini-logbook to record the experience!
Sightseeing Package: Toronto CN Tower Aerial Tour: $399+ HST
The experience begins with a ground and safety briefing before stepping into the aircraft. During the tour, you will depart from Burlington Airpark and fly to the Lakeshore. The instructor will the contact air traffic control to request permission to enter the airspace. The flight path then takes you along the lakeshore to downtown Toronto to fly past the CN tower and then return towards Burlington. Along the way, depending on the conditions, you may get to control the aircraft for a few minutes. Although rare, on occasion, air traffic control will not allow entry into the airspace to fly over downtown, in which case, an alternate/backup sightseeing will be taken. This can be discussed prior to departure
